Trianon Coffee Keeps Serving Community With New Location

Westlake Community Favorite Spot Trianon Coffee Announces Move to New Location in 2018

(UPDATE) Trianon Coffee announced that it will continue to serve the Austin community with a new Westlake location at 3654 Bee Cave Rd, just 0.6 miles from it's original location. The new location is in Westlake Square, behind the Popeye's Chicken.

Despite rumors that it would be forced to close, the community has rallied behind this Westlake favorite to ensure Trianon Coffee will be able to service the area for years to come. "The community has been very vocal about wanting their neighborhood coffee shop to continue. We wouldn't be here without the support of the community," said Michael Sexton, the current co-owner of Trianon Coffee. Members of the community have suggested new locations and offered to help with the relocation! And we're humbled by this."

In August, another local business announced it would be taking over the space Trianon Coffee has occupied since it was originally opened in 1985. "Ever since we heard the news that we would not be offered the the opportunity to remain in our current location, our community has been incredibly supportive," Sexton said. "We knew that this was the community’s coffee shop, but people have really emphasized that we cannot let 32 years of tradition die."

Sexton confirmed the new location will be in Westlake and within walking distance of their current spot. "We're very excited about the opportunity this new facility gives us to expand the work space available for conference rooms and to give the shop a fresh new look and feel," Sexton explained. "We looked at other locations around Austin, but decided to stay because we wanted to serve the community that has supported us for all these years."
